Fite Fashion to Launch Modern Sustainable Luxury Fashion Line

Launch event to be held at Bok Bar, Philadelphia, July 29, 2019.

July 18, 2019 Wilmington, DE – Fite Fashion LLC has announced the launch of Fite Fashion, a new luxury modern fashion line focused on delivering high-end fashion with a commitment to the industry’s highest ethical and most sustainable business and manufacturing practices available, produced locally in the U.S.A.

As part of the launch, Fite Fashion will be hosting a showcase event and cocktail reception at Bok Bar Philadelphia on July 29, 2019 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.  Attendees will be among the first to see the collection up close, as well as be among the first to place orders.

Fite Fashion has been launched by husband and wife team Michelle and Thomas Fite.   Prior to the launch of Fite Fashion, for well over a decade, Michelle Fite has been honing her design, patterning and dressmaking skills to fulfill her dream of launching a clothing line that does not compromise sustainable and ethical practices for design.

“The fashion industry is guilty of extreme wastefulness, pollution and exploitation of labor. Fabric scraps from the factory floor more often than not end up in a landfill. Harsh chemical dyes can make their way into streams and groundwater, poisoning ecosystems. Sweatshop labor practices are common in the world of fast fashion, creating a race to the bottom to make clothing cheap and disposable as possible.  We aim to be a change agent in the industry”, said Michelle Fite. 

Every garment Fite Fashion is bringing to market will be made to order in the Northeastern United States, using fair labor practices with a further emphasis on sustainability.   Fite focuses on sourcing the most sustainable fabrics available, and working towards fabrics that are produced with clean dyeing techniques and committed to utilizing non-exploitative labor.
